Another religious education program year has come to an end. As always I can’t seem to figure out where the time went. We had another wonderful year of students deepening their faith with the support of catechists, parents, and the parish family. I would like to THANK all who helped out with the program this year from catechists to parent volunteers, those who prayed for us and supported us financially, librarians and pizza makers.

Some of the highlights this year were: individual class Mass, packaging food for Kids-Against-Hunger, individual class community service projects, retreats, special speakers, 19 students made their First Holy Communion on April 26th and 18 students will be confirmed on May 16th at the Cathedral of St. Paul - and of course the weekly classroom time spent learning and deepening of the faith. As wonderful as this year was, we can still strive to do better, an ongoing concern our program has is the need for catechists and adult support. I ask that we pray over the summer for our students and adults that next year our students, programs, and adult volunteers will be faithful, strong, and numerous. I wish you all the very best that this spring and summer can bring and in these very trying times that our faith and families will remain strong and supported by the love that God has for each and everyone of us.
